PTI Calls for Restoration of Contact with Imran Khan and Addresses Imprisoned Workers

Islamabad: In negotiations with the government, PTI has made an initial demand for the release of all prisoners, including Imran Khan, and the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the D-Chowk firing incident.

Speaking to the media after the talks, Asad Qaiser stated that PTI presented its position strongly during the meeting. He said they called for the release of all prisoners, including Imran Khan, and demanded the formation of a judicial commission to look into the D-Chowk firing. He also mentioned that PTI would submit a “Charter of Demands” on January 2.

Additionally, Qaiser noted that PTI demanded the restoration of contact with Imran Khan, which the government acknowledged, and raised concerns about the workers currently imprisoned. The initial talks concluded today, and formal negotiations are set to begin on January 2.
