PSL Introduces Player Tracking Tech for Enhanced Fan Experience

The technology will provide fans with real-time statistical graphics on screen

Rawalpindi – The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to revolutionize cricket broadcasting by introducing Player Tracking Technology in its tenth edition (HBL PSL X). This cutting-edge system will record ball-by-ball data, capturing player movements such as fielders’ positions, bowlers’ run-ups, and batters’ stances on every delivery.

The technology will provide fans with real-time statistical graphics on screen, offering deeper insights into the game. Key features include zone-based fielding analysis, scoring-zone tracking for batters, caught-dismissal breakdowns, and field placement visuals based on player strengths and weaknesses.

HBL PSL CEO Salman Naseer stated, “The HBL PSL has always embraced innovation. With this new technology, we’re enhancing fan engagement and setting new standards for cricket coverage.”
