PBM Hosts Lunch for Cochlear Implant Children, Renews Support Commitment
PBM has facilitated 1,738 surgeries, spending Rs. 2,343 million under its medical assistance program.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) hosted a special lunch for children who received cochlear implants and their families, reaffirming its commitment to supporting hearing-impaired children.
PBM Managing Director Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt personally met the children, expressed joy over their recovery, and highlighted the need for better post-implant rehabilitation services.
He reiterated PBM’s dedication to providing speech therapy and continued care, calling cochlear implants “gateways to opportunity.”
