Protests Erupt Worldwide Against Israeli Aggression; Netanyahu’s Image Hit with Shoes in South Korea
Across the world, mass demonstrations are being organized to show solidarity with the people of Palestine.
SEOUL — Global outrage against Israel’s continued aggression in Gaza is intensifying, with widespread protests held in several countries. In a symbolic act of protest, demonstrators in South Korea hurled shoes at a photograph of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, denouncing the ongoing violence against Palestinians.
Across the world, mass demonstrations are being organized to show solidarity with the people of Palestine. In the UK city of Liverpool, protesters marched against their own government, accusing it of a double standard in foreign policy. “The UK government’s stance is hypocritical. Its actions regarding Israeli atrocities in Gaza are highly questionable,” said one protester.

In Germany, approximately 60,000 people marched in Berlin, demanding an end to the siege on Gaza and calling for immediate ceasefire. In Cape Town, South Africa, thousands also took to the streets to express unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
Even within Israel, dissent is growing. In Tel Aviv, protesters rallied against Netanyahu’s government, carrying placards and chanting slogans calling for a ceasefire and peace in the region.
The growing global unrest reflects mounting frustration over what many describe as unchecked Israeli military action and international inaction in the face of humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
