ECP sets up control room to watch Sindh local government elections on Nov 5

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said we will enter the field with an effective election campaign and the best manifesto for the general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

He said that the Pakistan People’s Party believes in the formula of people’s decisions and people’s authority and when the people get the right to rule, problems are solved at the grassroots level.

Addressing the meeting of the workers, officials and dignitaries of Nawab Shah City and his constituency, former President Asif Ali Zardari also listened to the suggestions of the workers, officials and dignitaries regarding the general elections.

Talking to the dignitaries, he further said that the Pakistan Peoples Party is a public party and we have worked for the implementation of public rule in every period, while the Pakistan Peoples Party has managed the country in crises in every period.

A control room cum complaint cell was Saturday was established in the Election Commission Secretariat Islamabad to keep watch over the local government elections in 16 districts of Sindh to be held on November 5, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

A central control room has been set up to monitor the election process and address the complaints which will continue to function till the election results are declared.

Senior officers will be monitoring the election processes along with the monitoring team in the control room from November 4 to November 6. The complaints lodged will be remedied instantly.
