
Policeman killed, three terrorists dead in Kohat shootout
A brave officer lost his life as police stopped an attack in the mountains.
Kohat – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Police in Kohat reported a violent shootout with terrorists this Saturday. Sadly, one officer was killed, and two others were hurt.
The regional police chief stated the officers were on a mission against terrorists. Police fought back in the Darmalak mountains, killing three attackers.
Authorities are now working to find the injured terrorists who ran away. The police chief vowed to continue the fight against terrorism.

Earlier, rescue workers confirmed a shooting targeted a police vehicle. The attack happened near a police post in Darmalak.
One policeman died immediately at the scene. The two wounded officers were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for care.
Recently, terrorists have focused their attacks on police and security forces. Because of this, the government has increased its counter-terrorism efforts.
Just this month, two security officers died in a similar attack in Hangu. Another attack on Independence Day killed five officers in several districts.
In July, a police operation in Bannu killed three wanted terrorists. Sadly, terror attacks have risen in Pakistan over the last year. This is especially true in regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The increase began after a militant group ended a peace agreement in late 2022.
