PM Shehbaz revises foreign tour, dropping Germany, visiting Austria, UK, and US to strengthen diplomatic relations and global cooperation.
PM Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s overseas travel plan has been revised, with Germany removed from the itinerary. The premier will now visit Austria, the United Kingdom, and the United States as part of his upcoming foreign tour.
According to sources, the prime minister will no longer attend the Munich Security Conference, which was scheduled to take place in Germany from February 12 to 15. Instead, his European visit will be limited to a bilateral trip to Austria.
While in Vienna, Prime Minister Sharif is expected to hold meetings with Austria’s senior leadership on February 15 and 16. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing issues of shared interest, with officials describing the visit as a reciprocal diplomatic engagement.
Following his engagements in Vienna, the prime minister will proceed to London for a private two-day visit. Sources added that he will depart from London for Washington on February 18.
In the United States, Prime Minister Sharif is expected to attend a meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington on February 19. According to sources, there is also a strong possibility of a bilateral meeting between the Pakistani prime minister and the US president on February 20, though a formal confirmation is awaited.

A high-level delegation comprising senior government officials and key personalities will accompany the prime minister during his foreign visits. Sources said further details regarding the meetings and agenda would be finalised closer to the dates.
