PM Shehbaz Reaffirms Commitment to Equal Rights for All Citizens

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all communities in Pakistan, emphasizing that every citizen, regardless of their background, should have the chance to excel and contribute to the nation’s growth.

Addressing a ceremony for International Human Rights Day, the Prime Minister underscored that the government is dedicated to protecting human rights and empowering marginalized communities. He recalled the historic contributions of Islam and Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who championed the cause of equality and human rights.

Highlighting his own efforts as Punjab’s Chief Minister, PM Sharif shared initiatives like the Punjab Endowment Fund, scholarships, and the Zaiwer-e-Taleem program, aimed at supporting citizens from all provinces. He also mentioned measures to combat child labor in brick kilns and provide educational opportunities for thousands of children.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of collective efforts to move forward and meet the expectations of the nation and future generations.
