Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Addresses Officers At Quetta Staff College

QUETTA: (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Command and Staff College in Quetta where he addressed faculty members and student officers, praising the professionalism and operational readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces.

During his address, the prime minister commended the sacrifices and dedication of the military in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and maintaining peace and stability. He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the armed forces for their service and commitment to national defence.

Referring to “Marka-e-Haq,” Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged what he described as a historic success achieved under the leadership of Asim Munir. He praised the armed forces for their role and leadership during recent security challenges.

The prime minister stated that Pakistan had demonstrated restraint and responsible conduct in response to what he termed India’s unprovoked aggression. He added that Pakistan’s measured stance had been recognized internationally.

Reaffirming the country’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan would respond firmly to any threat or misadventure.

He also spoke about Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, stating that the campaign was continuing with full determination against militant networks and terrorist infrastructure linked to Afghan Taliban-based proxies targeting innocent civilians.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s continued political and diplomatic support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Palestine.

Addressing international military students attending the institution, he highlighted the importance of military diplomacy, regional cooperation, and Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

The visit was attended by federal ministers for defence, interior, and information, along with the chief minister of Balochistan.

Upon arrival at the Command and Staff College Quetta, the prime minister was received by Field Marshal Asim Munir.
