PM Shehbaz, Field Marshal Asim Munir Vow Decisive End to Foreign-Backed Terrorism

India Using Terror Proxies to Target Innocent Children: PM said.

Quetta: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, in a joint show of resolve during an emergency visit to Quetta following the recent Khuzdar school bus attack, pledged to bring the war against foreign-sponsored terrorism to its logical and decisive conclusion.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit included a detailed briefing on the Khuzdar incident and the prevailing security situation in Balochistan. During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Munir, and federal ministers also visited injured children at local hospitals to offer support and express solidarity.

The PM Office stated that the brutal attack on the school bus in Khuzdar, which claimed the lives of three children and two security personnel while injuring 53 others, was a clear example of terrorism backed by India. Of the 39 injured children, eight remain in critical condition.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack, asserting that India is using its state-sponsored agents to target innocent children and destabilize Pakistan. “India’s terrorist networks are tarnishing the names of Baloch and Pashtun communities,” the statement said, calling on the international community to expose India’s involvement in such acts of terror.

The premier reaffirmed that the nation stands united with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, and in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and national security.
