PM Increases Laptop Supply to Balochistan Students from 14% to 18%
Special Initiatives for Educational Development in Balochistan
QUETTA: Chairman of the Pakistan Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, announced that Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has increased the allocation of laptops for students at public sector universities in Balochistan, raising the supply from 14% to 18%. This decision aims to support the educational development of the province and assist students in acquiring necessary digital tools.
Speaking at the 20th convocation ceremony of BUITEMS as a guest, Rana Mashhood emphasized that the Prime Minister’s increased focus on Balochistan’s educational needs demonstrates a commitment to the province’s progress. The move was made on the recommendation of Balochistan’s Governor, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.
In addition to the laptop increase, Rana Mashhood also shared that 3,000 internships have been allocated for students from Balochistan to further enhance their professional skills and opportunities.
