PM AJK Orders Immediate Clearance of Landslide Area on Muzaffarabad-Rawalpindi Highway”

“Muzaffarabad,- Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, has directed the concerned authorities to take immediate measures to clear the landslide area on the Muzaffarabad-Rawalpindi highway. The PM issued these instructions after inspecting the landslide-hit area near Dulai, which blocked the highway to all sorts of traffic yesterday.

During his visit, the PM emphasized the need to restore normal traffic flow on the highway as soon as possible. He directed the authorities to divert traffic towards alternative routes to minimize inconvenience to the public.

The PM was briefed on the relief efforts by the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA). Director General SDMA, Masoodur Rahman, informed the PM that heavy machinery was being used to clear the debris, and officials from all relevant departments were present at the spot.

Chief Secretary Dawood Muhammad Barich and other relevant officials accompanied the PM during his visit. The PM’s prompt action aims to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and minimize disruptions to daily life.”
