PIA PK-860 Jeddah Delay Strands 305 Hajj Pilgrims Hours
PIA PK-860 Jeddah Delay Leaves Hajj Pilgrims Stuck for Hours
PIA PK-860 – (Web Desk) – PIA PK-860 Jeddah delay left 305 Hajj pilgrims stuck on board for nearly seven hours after the aircraft developed a technical fault before departure.
The flight was scheduled to fly from Jeddah to Karachi but remained grounded from around 5pm. Passengers said engineers were called to assess the problem while everyone stayed inside the plane.
What frustrated passengers most was that they were not allowed to step off the aircraft. Many felt this was unfair, especially since the plane was clearly not ready to fly.
As the hours passed, conditions inside the cabin became uncomfortable. Some passengers reportedly fell unwell during the long wait, raising concerns about health and safety on board.
Travellers questioned why PIA did not allow them to disembark and wait in the terminal. They called on the airline to take immediate steps to ease the discomfort of those on board.
At the time of reporting, PIA had not issued any official statement about the nature of the fault or when the flight would depart.
