PHF President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar Resigns
Tariq Bajwa had been holding the charge of acting president under the Prime Minister’s Patron-in-Chief.

Lahore: Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, has tendered his resignation from the position. According to private television reports, a notification for the appointment of a new president will be issued soon.
Khalid Sajjad Khokhar has resigned from the presidency of the Hockey Federation, and there is a possibility that the notification for the appointment of the new president by the PHF will be issued today.
According to reports, Tariq Bajwa has been nominated by the Prime Minister’s Patron-in-Chief for the position of president of the PHF. Previously, the Prime Minister had nominated Tariq Bajwa for the position of acting president.
It is said that after the notification, the new president will be voted on for confidence in the Congress of the PHF. After the appointment of the new president, the race for the Secretary of the PHF will begin.

According to the report , Tariq Bajwa had been holding the charge of acting president under the Prime Minister’s Patron-in-Chief since December 23. Khalid Sajjad Khokhar had filed a case in court against the nomination of Tariq Bajwa, and Khalid Sajjad Khokhar remained the President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation for 8 years and 4 months.
