Peshawar Zalmi – (Web Desk) – Peshawar Zalmi have signed Shoriful Islam for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League. The tournament will run from March 26 to May 3.
The team shared the news on social media. They posted a creative image of Shoriful wearing the Zalmi jersey and sitting on a royal throne next to Bengal Tigers. In the caption, they welcomed him and said the squad has become stronger with his arrival.
Shoriful has been a key player for Bangladesh since his debut in 2021. He has played in all formats of the game. So far, he has appeared in 14 Tests, 40 ODIs, and 59 T20 matches for his country.
He also brings strong T20 experience. He has played 156 matches and taken 195 wickets. His bowling average and economy rate show he is a reliable performer.
In the Bangladesh Premier League, he is one of the top bowlers. He is among the leading wicket takers in the tournamentβs history, with 87 wickets in 60 innings.

This will be his first time playing in the PSL, which makes it even more exciting for fans.
Earlier, Zalmi also signed young left arm pacer Muhammad Basit to strengthen their squad further. The team looks well prepared for the new season.
