Ashraf urged interested businesses to submit applications for exhibition stalls by May 31st.
Lahore, The Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) has unveiled the dates for its annual international exhibition. The three-day event will be held from October 12th to 14th at a Lahore hotel.
The announcement comes after a meeting chaired by PCMEA Senior Vice Chairman Usman Ashraf. The meeting focused on reviewing exhibition preparations and outreach to international buyers. Ashraf expressed optimism based on “very encouraging” informal contacts with foreign buyers.
The exhibition aims to attract not just traditional buyers but also delegates from new markets. This strategy seeks to broaden the reach of Pakistani handmade carpets.
Ashraf urged interested businesses to submit applications for exhibition stalls by May 31st. He emphasized the global significance of the event and called for support from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and other relevant institutions.

High-level government participation is also being sought. Ideally, the Governor of Punjab will host a traditional dinner for international guests, mirroring past events. These efforts aim to boost Pakistan’s export earnings and project a positive national image.
