Successful End to 2025 Season
The announcement comes as Pakistan concluded a strong 2025 home season, in which the team secured series wins over South Africa and Sri Lanka.
-
In October, Pakistan defeated South Africa 2-1 in both the T20I and ODI series.
-
They then swept Sri Lanka 3-0 in a three-match ODI series.
-
Pakistan ended the year by lifting the trophy in a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
Across a packed calendar, Pakistan lost only three matches—one ODI and two T20Is—while clinching all four of their series.
The team will now take a month-long break before returning to action.
Following the Sri Lanka tour in January, Pakistan are also expected to host Australia for a T20I series ahead of the World Cup.
