PCB Launches ‘Strike Force’ Initiative to Strengthen T20 Team

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the formation of a new “strike force” aimed at strengthening the national T20 team by developing a pool of hard-hitting batters. Sources confirmed to SAMAA TV that the initiative will identify 50 talented players from across the country, focusing on merit-based selection to ensure that the best talent is brought into the fold.

The program, led by former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, will scout promising players from all regions of Pakistan. The selected players will undergo specialized training to hone their power-hitting skills, with an emphasis on mastering the art of hitting long sixes and fours. The goal is to enhance the overall batting strength of the national T20 squad.

The PCB has revealed that the “Strike Force” program is designed to prepare these young talents within a year, integrating them into the T20 team to elevate its performance in future international competitions.
