Pakistan weather forecast: hot and humid conditions with sporadic rain
Islamabad and surrounding areas, humid weather with strong winds and thundershowers is anticipated.
Islamabad: On Sunday, hot and dry weather will prevail in most northern regions, while southern areas will be hot and humid, says Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in Northeast and East Punjab, Northeast Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, with heavy rain expected in parts of Northeast and Eastern Punjab.
Going region by region, in Islamabad and surrounding areas, humid weather with strong winds and thundershowers is anticipated.
In Punjab, areas including Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Kasur, Okara, Pakpattan, Wahari, Nankana Sahib, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar may experience rain and thunderstorms, with heavy rain at some locations.
Likewise, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to see rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Butgram, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Khyber, Mohmand, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Waziristan and Kurram, with potential heavy rain in some areas.
In Sindh, hot and humid weather is expected in most districts, though light rain and partly cloudy conditions are forecast for coastal districts.

Balochistan will likely experience hot and humid conditions across most districts, with potential rain and thunderstorms in Zhob, Barkhan, Harnai, Musa Khel, Sherani, Loralai and Kohlu.
Kashmir may see rain with gusty winds and thundershowers, while Gilgit-Baltistan could also have rain with strong winds and thundershowers.
