Pakistan, UAE DPMs Discuss Regional Situation, Call for De-escalation

Both leaders exchanged views on recent developments.

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with the United Arab Emirates’ Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss the evolving regional situation.

According to the Foreign Office, both leaders exchanged views on recent developments. Dar emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability, urging immediate de-escalation and highlighting that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path forward.

He also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives, including three Pakistani nationals, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the UAE.

The two dignitaries extended Eid greetings and agreed to remain in close contact as the situation continues to unfold.
