Pakistan to Convene All Parties Conference (APC) to Address Evolving Situation in Afghanistan

PML-N Leader Highlights Afghan Involvement in Attack, Calls for Refugee Repatriation

Islamabad – In light of the ongoing security concerns surrounding Afghanistan, the government of Pakistan has decided to convene an All Parties Conference (APC) to discuss the escalating situation, as revealed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Barrister Aqeel Malik.

Speaking at a press conference, Barrister Malik expressed grave concerns about the role of India in allegedly using Afghanistan to further its own strategic agenda, which he described as a serious threat to Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.

The PML-N leader emphasized that credible intelligence reports indicate the involvement of an Afghan national in a recent attack, heightening security fears along Pakistan’s borders. Malik also pointed out that while the Torkham border between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been temporarily opened, the repatriation of Afghan refugees remains a crucial and inevitable matter for the country.

“Pakistan prioritizes the security of its citizens above all else and cannot afford to put the interests of foreign nationals before the safety of its people,” Malik stressed.

In light of the ongoing security challenges, Barrister Malik urged for decisive action and underscored the importance of safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. He called on the government to implement tough measures to address the security threats posed by the situation in Afghanistan.
