Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Nadeem Jan, expressed his pride in announcing the prestigious event, emphasizing that it marks a significant milestone for the nation.

Addressing the media, Minister Nadeem Jan underscored the importance of the summit, stating that it will play a pivotal role in developing an integrated strategy to address global epidemics. The summit aims to foster collaboration among nations to strengthen global health security.

“The Islamabad declaration will be a testament to the shared commitment of nations towards enhancing global health security,” said Minister Nadeem Jan. He further added that hosting such a distinguished international gathering would elevate Pakistan’s status in the global health arena.

Highlighting Pakistan’s advancements in healthcare, the minister discussed ongoing efforts to improve access to medicines and the establishment of pharmaceutical parks within the country. He also emphasized the need to leverage technology transfer for molecular manufacturing in Pakistan, showcasing the nation’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge solutions in healthcare.

Minister Nadeem Jan reiterated, “Hosting the Global Health Security conference demonstrates that Pakistan is at the forefront of health leadership, contributing significantly to global health initiatives.”

Previously announced in October, the summit has garnered anticipation worldwide, with top health leaders, officials, and technical experts set to convene in Pakistan for crucial discussions and collaborations.
