Pakistan President Kyrgyzstan Visit Marks Historic Trip

Pakistan President Kyrgyzstan Visit Set for July 6–9, 2026

President Asif Ali Zardari is set to leave today for a four-day trip to the Kyrgyz Republic, and this Pakistan president Kyrgyzstan visit is being called a historic moment for both nations. He will travel from July 6 to July 9, leading a senior delegation on the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.

This marks the first time in 21 years that a Pakistani president has traveled to Kyrgyzstan. Officials say it shows just how strong the friendship between the two countries has grown in recent years.

The trip comes soon after President Zhaparov’s own visit to Pakistan back in December 2025. Since then, both sides have kept up steady talks and exchanges at the top level.

During his time in Bishkek, President Zardari will sit down with President Zhaparov for private talks, followed by wider discussions between both delegations. The two leaders plan to go over every part of their countries’ ties and share thoughts on regional and world issues that matter to both sides.

Talks are expected to touch on trade, investment, energy, and mining. Agriculture, textiles, and the halal food industry will likely come up too. Other areas on the table include healthcare, medicine supplies, digital business, education, tourism, and stronger people-to-people links.

President Zardari is also scheduled to meet with the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament during a courtesy visit.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office noted that the two nations share deep bonds built on common history, faith, and culture. Both sides hope this visit will bring more peace, better connections, and shared growth across Central and South Asia.
