Pakistan-(Special Correspondent/Web desk)On Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for Tianjin on an official visit to China, joined by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Adviser Tariq Fatemi. The visit is seen as crucial for boosting Pakistan’s diplomatic and economic cooperation with China and other regional allies. At the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, the premier will address key issues including peace, connectivity, sustainable growth, and the urgent threat of climate change.Pakistan to produce insulin locally with Russia

After the SCO sessions, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Beijing to attend events marking the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance. During his stay, he is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to discuss ways to further strengthen the Pakistan-China strategic partnership, particularly in trade, investment, and infrastructure development.

The visit also carries strong economic focus. The Prime Minister will chair the second Business-to-Business (B2B) Investment Conference and meet senior executives of leading Chinese companies. He will invite investors to benefit from Pakistan’s pro-business policies and highlight investment opportunities in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.
