Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Pakistan NAC GDP growth 2026 has shown a strong performance, with the economy expanding by 3.99% in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025-26. This data was officially released by the National Accounts Committee (NAC) and compiled by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
The industry sector led the growth this quarter, rising by 4.65%. This is a clear sign that manufacturing and production activities are picking up pace across the country.
Agriculture also performed well, growing by 3.01%. Farming, livestock, and related activities continued to support millions of households and contribute steadily to the national economy.
The services sector was not far behind, posting growth of 4.18%. This includes banking, retail, transport, and other everyday services that drive economic activity at the ground level.
Looking at the full picture, Q1 and Q2 of this fiscal year were revised upward to 3.92% and 4.05% respectively. These revisions reflect more accurate data collection and a healthier economy than initially estimated.
Pakistan’s planning minister confirmed that overall GDP growth for the full fiscal year ending June 2026 is expected to reach 3.7%. This compares positively to the 3.18% growth recorded in fiscal year 2024-25.
The revised figures for FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25 were confirmed at 2.62% and 3.18%. The upward trend over recent years points to a gradually stabilizing economy building on a difficult recovery period.
