Pakistan, Kuwait Discuss Regional Security and Bilateral Defence Cooperation

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Meets Field Marshal Asim Munir

Rawalpindi: (Special Reporter) – Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, where he held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Pakistan Nasser Abdulrahman Jay Al-Mutairi, along with a high-level delegation from Kuwait, was also present during the meeting.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security developments and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.

During the meeting, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in promoting regional peace and stability. He also praised Pakistan’s continued support and highlighted the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its ties with Kuwait, stating that both nations share a common vision for regional peace, stability and prosperity.

The ISPR said that both sides reached a consensus on steps to expand cooperation and further strengthen the existing partnership between Pakistan and Kuwait.
