Pakistan Begins Selection Camp For FIH Pro League Squad

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Trials for the selection of Pakistan men’s national field hockey team ahead of the upcoming FIH Pro League will commence tomorrow, with 35 players participating in the two-day assessment camp.

Officials confirmed that all national players currently competing in overseas leagues have joined the camp and will take part in the selection process. The evaluation sessions will be supervised by the selection committee led by former Olympian Samiullah Khan.

The committee will review the players’ performances during the trials before announcing the final squad, which is expected on Wednesday after the completion of the camp.

Pakistan is scheduled to face top international sides in the upcoming Pro League matches, including the Belgium men’s national field hockey team, Spain men’s national field hockey team, England men’s national field hockey team, and traditional rivals India men’s national field hockey team.
