ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming tours of the West Indies cricket team and England cricket team have been affected by injury concerns, with several key players reportedly facing fitness issues ahead of the important assignments.

According to sources, the availability of Saud Shakeel for the Test squad has become uncertain due to fitness concerns. The middle-order batter is currently being monitored, and a final decision regarding his participation is expected after further assessment.

Meanwhile, Pakistan captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan is also dealing with an injury, raising concerns for the team management. Fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani is reportedly facing fitness issues as well.

In response to Rizwan’s injury concerns, sources indicate that wicketkeeper-batter Rohail Nazir has been called up to join Pakistan’s red-ball training camp as a backup option.
