Pakistan Head Coach Dedicates Wins to Flood Victims Back Home
“These back-to-back wins are dedicated to everyone affected by the floods in Pakistan.”
Sharjah: Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson has dedicated the national team’s consecutive victories in the ongoing tri-nation series to the people affected by recent floods in Pakistan.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Hesson expressed solidarity with the flood-stricken communities, writing:
“These back-to-back wins are dedicated to everyone affected by the floods in Pakistan.”
He further extended his prayers and support, adding:
“Some people are really struggling and we are praying for safety and strength for all those affected back in Pakistan.”
The heartfelt message comes as Pakistan, under the captaincy of Salman Ali Agha, secured two impressive wins — defeating Afghanistan by 39 runs and UAE by 31 runs — in the ongoing tri-nation series being held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The series features Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates, with Pakistan emerging as strong contenders in the early stages of the tournament.
