TOKYO: Pakistan’s junior hockey team secured a spot in the final of the Junior Asia Hockey Cup after defeating Japan 4-2 in the semi-finals. The match, held in Muscat, Oman, saw Pakistan maintain their undefeated record throughout the tournament.
Captain Hanan Shahid was the standout performer, scoring two goals for Pakistan, while Sufyan Khan and Basharat Ali each added one goal. Shahid’s exceptional performance earned him the title of Best Player of the Match.
