Pakistan Cricket team set target to 185 runs for South Africa in ICC T20

Sydney: (Web Desk) Pakistan cricket team set a target of 185 runs for South Africa in Super 12 stage match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Sydney. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and chose to bat first at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Furthermore playing first, Pakistan scored 185 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, at the beginning of the innings; Mohammad Rizwan hit a four and was bowled by Wayne Parnell for 4 runs. Young wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Haris scored 28 runs in 11 balls, which included 3 sixes and 2 fours. Captain Babar Azam 6, Mohmmad Rizwan 4, Shan Masood 2 and Mohammad Nawaz returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs. Fast bowler Wasim Junior returned to the pavilion on the first ball without opening the account.

Moreover Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan supported the shaky boat of the Pakistani batting line-up, both of them played a fiery innings by showing full responsibility. Shadab was dismissed for 52 runs off 22 balls, Iftikhar Ahmed could not stand on the crease after Shadab’s dismissal and was caught for 51 runs off 35 balls, Haris Rauf scored 3 runs. Naseem Shah remained unbeaten with 5 runs.

As per details, for South Africa, Anrich Nortje sent 4 players to the pavilion; Tabraiz Shamsi, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi and Parnell dismissed one player each. Rauf was run out by Temba Bavuma on Klaasen’s last ball.
