Pakistan Committed to Upholding Global Human Rights Responsibilities
Pakistan believes in promoting the rule of law and constructive dialogue.
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that Pakistan remains committed to fulfilling its international responsibilities regarding human rights.
In response to recent statements concerning the decisions of military courts, Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized that Pakistan’s legal system is in line with international human rights laws. She further assured that Pakistan’s legal framework guarantees the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Pakistan believes in promoting the rule of law and constructive dialogue. The country will continue its cooperation with international partners, including the European Union. The decisions in question were made in accordance with laws enacted by Parliament and the rulings of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
