Pakistan China Leaders Discuss Diplomacy And Regional Peace Efforts

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – In Islamabad, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to discuss the evolving regional situation.

During the call, Ishaq Dar emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective ways to peacefully resolve global conflicts. He highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions in the region.

Dar also underlined Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States, describing it as a reflection of the country’s principled and balanced foreign policy approach.

Pakistan and China Launch Information Corridor to Shape Regional Narrative

Wang Yi welcomed the renewed momentum toward US-Iran talks, noting that the international community should support both sides in returning to meaningful negotiations. He also appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.

The Chinese foreign minister reaffirmed China’s full support for Pakistan’s facilitation efforts, recognizing its contribution to reducing tensions.

Both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination to promote peace, stability, and economic prosperity in the region and beyond. They also reiterated their commitment to strengthening collaboration in multilateral platforms, including the United Nations.
