Thousands of Pakistani Travelers Stranded as Gulf Crisis Forces Mass Flight Cancellations Across Major Airports
Air Flights Cancel – (Web Desk) – Thousands of Pakistani travelers faced major disruptions as 52 flights heading to the Middle East were cancelled across the country due to the ongoing Gulf conflict.
Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport saw 18 departures called off, leaving many passengers stranded and scrambling to rearrange their travel plans. Meanwhile, Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport witnessed the highest number of cancellations — 20 flights in total — affecting routes to popular destinations like Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, and Iraq.
The disruptions didn’t stop there. Islamabad’s New Islamabad International Airport lost 2 international flights to the region, while Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport recorded 10 cancellations. Multan and Sialkot also felt the impact, with 2 and 6 flights cancelled respectively.

The wave of cancellations has left Gulf-bound passengers — many of them workers and families — in a state of uncertainty, as airlines struggle to manage the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East. Authorities are urging affected travelers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates on rescheduling and refunds.
