Pakistan, Bangladesh Reaffirm Commitment to Forward-Looking Partnership

Islamabad: (Web Desk) – Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to broaden cooperation across multiple sectors and strengthen coordination in multilateral fora, reaffirming their commitment to a forward-looking and mutually beneficial partnership.

The understanding was reached during a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, and Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Khalil ur Rehman.

During the call, Ishaq Dar congratulated Dr. Khalil ur Rehman on his recent appointment and conveyed Pakistan’s goodwill. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of enhanced engagement.

They reaffirmed their shared vision of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and agreed to deepen collaboration in areas of mutual interest while strengthening coordination at international and multilateral platforms.

The leaders noted that closer Pakistan–Bangladesh cooperation would contribute to greater regional harmony and deliver tangible benefits for the people of both countries.
