Pakistan-Azerbaijan Strengthen Military Ties During High-Level Meetings
Meetings with President Ilham Aliyev and top officials reaffirm commitment to peace and military partnerships.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza recently visited Azerbaijan, where he held significant discussions with President Ilham Aliyev and high-ranking officials, including the Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of General Staff.
The meetings focused on mutual interests, with particular emphasis on bolstering regional security and enhancing military collaboration between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). General Sahir highlighted the importance of expanding military cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties.
The discussions reaffirmed the shared dedication of both nations to promoting peace and stability in the region.
President Aliyev commended the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistani army, expressing respect and gratitude for Pakistan’s role in advancing regional security.
