Pakistan Army Vows Action Against Terrorists Anywhere

Pakistan Army Announces Action Against Terrorists Without Location Limits

RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, has announced that security forces will now target terrorists wherever they are found, without any geographical restrictions. The statement comes amid rising tensions over cross-border militancy.

According to ISPR, the interim Taliban administration in Afghanistan has failed to stop its territory from being used to launch terrorist attacks against Pakistan. The military’s spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan will not tolerate the use of Afghan soil for activities that threaten its security and stability.

The statement also revealed that materials used in the recent attack on security forces in Bannu were traced back to the Gul Bahadur group operating from Afghanistan. Security officials said a major catastrophe was narrowly avoided in Bannu due to the swift and effective response of Pakistani troops.

During the operation, forces tracked and engaged militants referred to as “Khawarij.” A suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle was intercepted by the forward unit before reaching his intended target. In desperation, the attackers rammed the explosive vehicle into a military vehicle.

As a result of the blast, Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gulfraz and Sepoy Karamat Shah embraced martyrdom. Security forces retaliated, killing five militants in the ensuing operation. The military reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating terrorism and safeguarding citizens from further threats.
