Pakistan Army Destroys Afghan Posts After Border Firing
Swift Army Response Destroys Afghan Positions At Angoor Adda
RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Army responded swiftly and effectively to cross-border firing by Afghan Taliban forces in the Angoor Adda sector, destroying several of their positions after civilians were targeted, security sources reported on Monday.
The incident occurred after repeated infiltration attempts by militants, identified as Fitna al-Khwarij, were successfully foiled by Pakistani forces. In retaliation, Afghan Taliban forces reportedly opened unprovoked fire on civilian areas.

As a result of the shelling, three civilians — including two women — sustained injuries. They were immediately shifted to a hospital in Wana, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
In response, Pakistan Army carried out a measured counterattack in the Zalolkhail area of Angoor Adda, targeting and destroying multiple Afghan Taliban posts involved in the firing.
Security sources indicate that following setbacks during Operation Ghazab lil Haq, Afghan Taliban elements have increasingly resorted to targeting civilian populations along the border.
Local residents have strongly condemned the attack on civilians and have urged the Pakistan Army to continue firm retaliatory measures to ensure the safety and security of the area.
