Pakistan Announces Playing XI for First Test Against South Africa

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has announced its playing XI for the first Test against South Africa, set to take place in Centurion tomorrow.

Shan Masood will lead the team, taking charge after a significant series win over England at home. The team will also feature promising young talent, with Saim Ayub, who recently impressed in the white-ball format, included in the squad for his Test debut.

Babar Azam, the team’s star batsman, will be looking to lead with the bat and ensure a strong performance. Kamran Ghulam, who made an impact with a century on his Test debut against England, has also been included in the lineup.

Mohammad Rizwan, who captained the Pakistan white-ball team to victories in the ODI series against both Australia and South Africa in challenging home conditions, will take his place in the team. Saud Shakeel, another promising talent, has also been selected.
