Dallas – (Web Desk) – A deadly Oak Cliff Dallas gas explosion apartments tragedy shocked residents after a powerful blast and fire tore through an apartment complex in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. Officials confirmed that three people, including two women and a child, lost their lives in the heartbreaking incident.

Dallas Fire Rescue officials said several injured people were taken to nearby hospitals. One victim remains in critical but stable condition, while two others received treatment and are expected to return home later. Two more people with minor injuries reached hospitals on their own and are now safe.

Rescue crews worked throughout the night as emergency teams carefully searched the damaged building. Deputy Fire Chief Mark DeBerry said the operation has now entered the recovery phase, with teams removing debris to ensure no victims or important evidence are missed.

According to Dallas Fire Rescue spokesman Jason Evans, firefighters are continuing detailed inspections of every part of the building. Officials also confirmed that some people are still reported missing.

Assistant Fire Chief James Russ said firefighters successfully controlled the flames, but rescue and investigation work is still ongoing at the scene.

Natural gas company Atmos Energy stated that a construction crew not linked to the company accidentally damaged an underground gas pipeline near 409 East Ninth Street. The damaged pipeline reportedly caused the gas leak and explosion. The company added that gas service to the affected area was immediately shut off.

Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson expressed deep sadness over the tragedy and requested prayers for the affected families and emergency responders working at the site.

Authorities have now launched a full investigation into the explosion while recovery teams continue searching through the rubble for possible victims.
