No Deal Imran Khan Source Rules Out Zero Chance Dheal
Insider also denies any rift between PM Shehbaz and Asim Munir
Imran Khan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – A no deal Imran Khan source has firmly shut down talk of any relief for the former prime minister.
The well-placed insider also rejected reports of tension between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Both claims, the source said, stand at “zero.”
The comments come right after a Supreme Court order about Khan’s medical care sparked fresh rumors.
Khan was expected to be moved to Shifa International Hospital. Instead, he was taken to Pims and then sent back to Adiala Jail.
That sudden switch got political circles talking. Many wondered if it hinted at a quiet “deal” in the works.
But the source pushed back hard. When asked directly about any deal or relief for Khan, the answer was simple: “Zero.”
The same question came up about friction between Shehbaz and Munir. Again, the reply was: “Zero.”
Such rumors are common in Pakistan, the source explained. Any unusual political move often gets read as a hidden deal or a sign of trouble between civilian leaders and the military.
But this time, the source said, things are different. The current setup between the government and military has run for three to four years now, and it follows a different path than the past.
Much of the current chatter, the source added, may just reflect what people want to believe rather than actual facts.
“People can have their wishes,” the source said, noting that even serious, well-informed people sometimes share claims with no real basis.
Khan’s relationship with the military has been rocky for years, ever since his fallout with the establishment. So any news about his health, jail conditions, or legal cases tends to trigger the same old speculation.
For now, though, the message from this source is clear and short: no deal for Khan, and no rift between Shehbaz and Munir.
