New Pakistan Navy Ship PNS HUNAIN Visits Jeddah, Takes Part in Bilateral Exercise

Islamabad: The newly commissioned Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) HUNAIN made a notable stop in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of its maiden voyage from Romania to Pakistan. During its visit, the ship engaged in a bilateral exercise with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).

Upon arriving at Jeddah port, PNS HUNAIN was welcomed by senior officials from the RSNF and the Pakistan Embassy. The ship’s Commanding Officer, during his stay, met with Rear Admiral Mansoor Bin Saood Al Jayyad, the RSNF Navy Western Fleet Commander, and Rear Admiral Saleh Bin Abdullah Al-Amri, Commander of King Faisal Naval Base. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing mutual interests.

The highlight of the visit was the Passage Exercise conducted with HMS AL RIYADH of the RSNF. This exercise featured joint maritime drills and operations designed to improve the interoperability of the two navies.

The visit and subsequent exercise served to strengthen the defense collaboration and deepen the friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
