Nawaz Sharif Tells Muzaffarabad Crowd: “I Know You Love Me… I Love You Too”

MUZAFFARABAD:  (Mudassar Iqbal/ News Desk) – PML-N President Nawaz Sharif received a warm welcome from supporters as he launched his party’s election campaign for the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday. Addressing a large public gathering alongside Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the former prime minister expressed his affection for the people of Kashmir.

During his speech, Nawaz Sharif revived one of his trademark public remarks, saying, “I know you love me. I love you too. The people of Muzaffarabad always want to hear this from me.” The statement drew loud applause and enthusiastic slogans from the audience.

Highlighting his vision for AJK, Nawaz Sharif pledged major development initiatives, including the construction of modern highways, the introduction of electric buses in Muzaffarabad, mobile hospitals, and a significant increase in the region’s development budget if the PML-N returns to power. He also promised to personally monitor the implementation of the party’s manifesto by visiting AJK every three months.

Maryam Nawaz also addressed the gathering, describing the people of Kashmir as family and reaffirming the PML-N’s commitment to the welfare and development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
