This is not the only gift on the table. The Chief Minister also announced 100,000 free laptops for students. On top of that, 50,000 merit-based scholarships will be given out too. These steps are part of a bigger plan to support education across Punjab.

The government is also building science, math, computer, and IT labs. For the very first time, artificial intelligence labs are being introduced too. Maryam said this step will help Punjab’s students learn the same modern skills as children in developed countries.

She urged students to focus on learning artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. According to her, these skills will decide who succeeds in the coming years.

Before ending her speech, the Chief Minister shared one more big update. She revealed that 300 modern schools will be built across Punjab soon, calling this only the beginning of major changes coming to the province’s education system.
