Nawaz Sharif interacts Belarusian President Lukashenko in Murree

The discussions between the leaders focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus.

MURREE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif held a warm and cordial meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Wednesday in Murree. The meeting, which highlighted the growing diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Belarus, was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as well.

Upon his arrival in Murree, President Lukashenko greeted Nawaz Sharif with a heartfelt hug, signaling the close and friendly relationship between the two leaders. In return, Nawaz Sharif welcomed his Belarusian counterpart with equal warmth.

During their interaction, President Lukashenko expressed his happiness at the opportunity to meet his “esteemed brother” after a long time, underscoring the strong personal and diplomatic rapport between the two.

The meeting was followed by a special luncheon hosted by Nawaz Sharif in honour of the Belarusian president, further strengthening the bonds between the two nations. The discussions between the leaders focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus.

The visit marked a significant moment in Pakistan-Belarus diplomacy, with both sides committed to deepening ties in various sectors, including trade, economy, and cultural exchange.
