ISLAMABAD: The government has issued a notification to establish the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency to reduce the use and impact of social media.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency, akin to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), will set up zone offices across the country under the Cyber Crime Wing of the FIA.
All cyber crimes will be referred to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency for investigation.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency will be responsible for the registration and prosecution of all cyber crime cases.
