NADRA Eases Online Registration Process for B-Form
For children older than one year, the application must be completed in person at a NADRA office.
ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has simplified the process for obtaining a Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-Form, making it easier and more efficient for parents to register their newborns.
The B-Form serves as a child’s first official identity document, ensuring their formal inclusion in Pakistan’s national database.
Eligibility and Requirements
To apply for a B-Form, parents must provide:

A birth certificate issued by the Union Council (valid for births both in Pakistan and abroad).

A valid CNIC or NICOP of at least one parent.

Online Application via Pak ID App
Parents can now apply for a B-Form online through the Pak ID Mobile App for children up to one year old. The steps are:

Log in or create an account on the Pak ID App.

Select “Issuance of Identity Document”, then choose “Child Registration Certificate (CRC)”.

Enter the 13-digit CNIC number to begin the application.

Review the pre-filled data and select the preferred processing priority.

Upload a recent photograph of the child and provide a digital signature.

Enter the child’s details and upload the required documents.

Verify the fingerprints of one parent.

Review the application and submit.
For children older than one year, the application must be completed in person at a NADRA office.
Fee Structure for 2025

Standard B-Form Fee: Rs. 50
-
Executive Service Fee: Rs. 500 (for faster processing and quicker delivery)
These fees remain unchanged for 2025. The executive option provides expedited service, delivering the document within a few days.
