NAB summons Shehzad Akbar in Al-Qadir case

Summons Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust Case on May 18

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday summoned ex-prime minister Imran Khan’s adviser for accountability and interior Shahzad Akbar in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The accountability watchdog issued a fresh notice to Mr Akbar and ordered him to appear before the NAB on May 22 at 11:30 am.

Mr Akbar was directed to bring with him all the relevant documents in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Earlier today, the sources divulged that NAB Rawalpindi had personally summoned Imran Khan on May 18 in the Al-Qadir Trust case. In connection with the case, NAB sent a questionnaire to Mr Khan.

On Friday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on granted bail to former prime minister Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case, barring the authorities from arresting him till May 17.

Earlier,

NAB summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case on May 18 (Thursday).

Imran Khan has been summoned by the NAB Rawalpindi officials summoned Imran Khan in his personal capacity in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

A questionnaire containing 5 questions has also been sent to PTI Chairman Imran Khan regarding the details of the deed of the Al-Qadir University.

NAB Rawalpindi asked Imran Khan to bring documents related to the case of 19 million pounds received from the National Crime Agency.

It is worth mentioning that Imran Khan has already announced the rally in Muredke as a party’s power show on the same date and called the leaders and workers to join it.
