Metro Bus Restricted in Islamabad Amid Iran-US Talks

Security tightened across twin cities as world leaders arrive in the federal capital for high-level diplomatic negotiations.

Islamabad – (Web Desk) – Commuters in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are facing a tough time today. The Metro Bus service has been partially shut down. Authorities made this call ahead of the Iran-US peace talks happening right here in the capital.

Right now, the metro is only running between Saddar Station and PIMS. That is the only stretch still open. The rest of the route from PIMS all the way to Pak Secretariat is completely closed.

US Vice President Vance to Visit Pakistan Tomorrow

The district administration gave the order. Officials say the move is about keeping things safe. With diplomats and security personnel moving around the city, controlling public transport routes makes sense. People are being asked to find another way to travel for now.
