MCI Hosts CDA Cycling Championship to Promote Green Mobility
MCI and CDA plan to continue organizing similar public engagement activities
Islamabad: (Web Desk) The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI), in collaboration with Allied Bank Limited, successfully organized the CDA Cycling Championship at D-Chowk and along Jinnah Avenue, drawing a vibrant crowd of cycling enthusiasts from across the federal capital.
Nearly 300 cyclists from diverse backgrounds participated, highlighting growing public interest in healthy and environmentally friendly recreational activities. The championship featured inclusive race categories—Open Men, Open Women, Senior Men, Senior Women, Under-16, and Under-9—ensuring participation across age groups and genders.

The event was attended by senior officials and dignitaries, including the District Magistrate Islamabad, Member Finance and Director Sports of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), DSP Traffic Police, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, and members of the national women’s cricket team, who also joined the cycling activity.
